Drag Me to Dinner

Neil Patrick Harris and Dave Burtka are teaming up to bring drag queens together and compete to make the best dinner party! It’s like if you had to mix My Super Sweet Sweet 16, drag race, and nail it into a blender it all adds up to a ton of fun, camaraderie, and a lot of sass. It’s queer TV at its best – people from all walks of life can come together and show off whatever skills they have (or don’t have!) in a fun, supportive atmosphere.

Let’s be honest some of the best parts of Glee haven’t aged as well as we’d like. But when it was at its peak, it was a cultural phenomenon. Sure, there were some wild stories, but the covers were amazing – from beginning to end.

Glee is at its best when it’s funny and creative, and it’s unlike anything else out there. It’s got some amazing young talent, launching a lot of careers, and it’s got some of the biggest names in music Idina Menzel, Kristen Chenoweth, and more making it a fun and chaotic time.

Spellbound is a new fantasy series from co-creator Jill Girling and co-creator Lori Mather-Waterch (found me in Paris). It’s a mix of high-school drama and magical chaos, starring Hailey Romain as Cece, a young ballerina who’s not only getting ready for ballet school, but also has to learn how to handle her newfound witch powers.

The show builds an original mythology, blending fantasy and modern Paris, with Barbieri, O’Regan, and Darius all getting the starring roles alongside Romain. It’s a great show to watch if you’re a fan of short-lived shows like The Secret Circle, Fate, and The Winx Saga.

The Great North

If you’re a fan of adult animation, you should definitely check out The Great North! It’s a funny, wholesome show that follows the Tobins and their family, headed by Beef, a divorced dad of four. It’s got Jenny Slate and Will Forte in the lead roles, plus Dulcé Sloane.

It’s kind of like Bob’s Burgers – it’s got great stories with progressive messages, and it’s set in a really cool place Alaska. It’s an underrated gem that’s perfect for anyone who loves animation, even if it’s not full of gore or curse words.

Law & Order: SVU

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is the spin-off of Dick Wolf’s Law & Order. It’s been around for almost 25 years and is the most popular show in the franchise. The last of the original cast, Mariska (Hargitay) and Ice T (T.I.) joined the show in its second season, making it a show you can watch over and over again.

It’s earned the title of longest-running drama show in TV history and it keeps getting better as it goes along. It’s got some really interesting stories that are based on true events, and it’s got some really cool plots that are kind of funny but also really compassionate.

What We Do in the Shadows

Jemaine Clement’s (Moana) brilliant mind created one of the most beloved vampire comedy series to ever grace TV screens, and it’s won both praise and criticism. Taking on a mockumentary style and based on a 2014 movie, What We Do In The Shadows starts with a straightforward story of three centuries-old vampires who find themselves living together in the 21st century.

Kayvan Novak plays the role of the vampire, Matt Berry plays the part of the human familiar, and Natalie Demetriou plays the role of Harvey Guillén, who rounds out the fabulously talented and funny cast.

The UK’s newest dark comedy series, “Breeders”, is written and directed by Chris Addison and Simon Blackwell, with co-stars Daisy Haggard and Martin Freeman. It follows Paul and Ally’s (Haggard and Freeman) life as parents and the struggles and joys of raising kids. It’s a four-season series that follows their kids as they grow up and enter their teens. It’s got a lot of laughs coming from everyday situations and the constant opinions of family and friends.
