Peacock’s Ted TV Show Trailer Shows Early Raunchy Adventures

Peacock‘s new Ted TV series transports fans to 1993, offering a glimpse into the high school experiences of Ted and John during their teenage years.

The Ted trailer for the series mirrors the humor found in the movies, incorporating numerous sex jokes and a scene where the duo experiments with drugs. It shows Ted (Seth MacFarlane), expressing dismay as it’s revealed that he’ll be compelled to attend high school alongside his best friend John (Max Burkholder). Determined to assist John in catching up with his peers in various aspects, Ted takes on the mission of guiding him through the realms of sex and drugs.

The official synopsis of the movie says, “Ted the bear’s moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.”

The prequel event series, consisting of seven episodes, is set to premiere on Peacock on January 11, as previously announced.
