Jamie Foxx, an Oscar winning actor, faces accusations of sexual assault in a lawsuit filed in New York. The legal complaint asserts that The Burial star allegedly inappropriately touched a woman at a rooftop bar and restaurant in Manhattan in August 2015.

The accuser, referred to as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, claimed that the incident took place in a secluded area of the Catch NYC rooftop lounge. It happened after she and a friend approached the film star, had their photos taken with him, and then experienced the assault. Foxx complimented the plaintiff, saying, “Wow, you have that super model body” and “You smell so good.”

According to reports, the lawsuit alleges that Foxx initiated unwanted physical contact, groping the woman and attempting to put his hands under her clothing. The encounter was reportedly interrupted by her friend, prompting her to leave the scene.

The legal action is pursuing compensation for pain, suffering, emotional distress, anxiety, and humiliation. It claims that the woman experienced physical discomfort and had to seek medical treatment due to the alleged assault.

Additionally, the lawsuit identifies Birnbaum and Catch NYC as defendants, asserting that they facilitated the assault and neglected to properly supervise their staff.
