Henry Cavill has been providing us with incredible performances for over two decades now. His big break came when he starred in the BBC drama, The Tudors. But it wasn’t until 2013 when he donned the iconic cape as Superman in Man of Steel that he really made his name. That movie was the highest grossing Superman movie ever, and it stayed that way until 2016. We’ve listed some of the best movies and TV shows of Henry Cavill below. Cavill is most famous for his role as Superman in Man of Steel, but he’s had plenty of other roles too. He reprised the role in Batman v Superman and it’s still his most successful film.

Henry Cavill had a huge break out under the watchful eye of director Tarsem Singh. After years of playing sympathetic underdogs in TV shows and films, he finally got his big break as Theseus in Immortals. He plays a mortal with incredible fighting skills who’s bound for glory.

When the evil King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) threatens to destroy the whole of Greece, Theseus and his merry band of misfits set off on a quest to find a powerful weapon that will stop Hyperion from bringing destruction on all of mankind. Immortals marks a pivotal moment in Cavill’s career, laying the groundwork for his next ten years.

The picture was directed by controversial director Woody Allen and stars Evan Rachel Wood, Conleth Hill, Henry Cavill, who plays the role of Randy James. Some may be sceptical about the film’s plot but Cavill wants to impress and he has a great connection with Evan Rachel Wood.

Man of Steel

Henry Cavill has had an amazing career, but there’s one thing that sticks out – his portrayal of Superman is legendary. For those who only know Cavill as Superman, it all began with his appearance in 2013’s Man of Steel.

Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder worked together on this movie for a really long time. It was during this time that he was really making a movie out of a great script by David S. Goyer that was going to be something really deep and memorable.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Henry Cavill stars as Napoleon Solo, a CIA agent in a spy movie set in the 1960s. He’s chased by Armie Hammer’s illy Kuryakin, a KGB agent, but Solo manages to rescue Alicia Vikander’s Gaby Teller from East Berlin. Little does he know that they’ll soon have to team up to protect their country.

Henry Cavill’s performance as Napoleon Solo is one of the best of his career and stands out from the rest, showing off his skills to the best of his ability. He plays the character with a calm, collected, self-assured, and totally cool attitude, which is different from the type of character we usually see from him.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League

But it turns out the job isn’t as easy as he thought. Each member of the team has to confront their own dark pasts and overcome the obstacles that have stopped them from reaching their full potential.

Now that Batman and Wonder Woman are teaming up with Aquaman, Cyborg, and Flash, they need to act fast to get rid of these bad guys, who are trying to hide in the shadows from the villain (Steppenwolf) and his henchman DeSaad and Darkseid.

The Count Of Monte Cristo

Edmond Dantes, played by Jim Caviezel, is the main character of the movie. He’s been falsely imprisoned and accused of being a traitor after being set up by his fake friend, Fernand Mondego, played by Guy Pearce. Edmond’s only goal in life is to get revenge on those who mistreated him. He’s also on a mission to get his beloved Mercédè’s Mondego (played by Dagmara Dominczyk) back from Fernand’s clutches.

If you’re a fan of Henry Cavill, then this movie is for you! It’s a must-watch because it shows Henry at a young age before he became Superman. The amazing cast makes it so much fun to watch, even though the story isn’t all that original.

Stardust

 Stardust

Tristan Thorn, played by Charlie Cox, falls head over heels in love with Sienna Miller’s Victoria. But he’s on a mission to find a fallen star in the magical area of Stormhold in order to get her hand. To his surprise, the star turns out to be Claire Danes’ Yvaine instead of a star. On their way back, Yvaine’s mission to protect Tristan could lead him to some unexpected truths about who he really is.

Stardust is an amazing sci fi novel that tells a unique and captivating love story. It stars Henry Cavill in a small but important role as Humphrey who has to compete with Tristan to get Yvaine.

The Witcher

The Witcher is a fantasy series on Netflix that follows a monster hunter, Geralt, who is tasked with protecting a young princess, Ciri, who is the rightful ruler of Cintra. Unfortunately, the Nilfgaard Empire is after Ciri too, and they want to take Cintra for themselves. Henry Cavill plays Geralt as a complex character, who is both a great fighter and someone who cares deeply about Ciri. He’s like a father figure to her, and he protects her with all his heart.

The Witcher is an amazing show that really captures the essence of the world it’s set in. It’s got some of the most amazing actors in the world, like Yennefer, Freya, and Jaskier, who are all great additions to the cast. It’s been a huge success for Netflix, with reviews saying it’s got great production values, great characters, and great action. Plus, it’s been nominated for some awards, like the Golden Globe for Best TV Series – Drama.

Overall, I think Henry Cavill’s portrayal of Geralt of Riva is one of the best things to watch in The Witcher. He brings the character alive in a way that’s both true to the story and captivating for people of all ages.
