In a new announcement, the Ocean’s 11 prequel, featuring the dynamic Barbie duo Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, has just lifted the veil on its captivating plot details.
According to sources, the upcoming movie will be titled as Oceans, with Gosling and Robbie taking on the roles of the parents of Danny Ocean. Set during the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, the narrative unfolds as the Oceans guide their son Danny and daughter Debbie the art of stealing from the wealthy.
The film brings an ironic twist, considering the original Ocean’s 11 with Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack was released in 1960. The Oceans will assemble a team to assist them in their daring endeavors.
Details about the film cast are currently sparse, but what is known is that it will be directed by Jay Roach. This marks the return of the Ocean‘s franchise, the first installment since the 2018 release of Ocean’s 8, featuring Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett.
Previously, Producer Josey McNamara said that he’s excited for the people to “experience it when it’s ready.”
