Box office predicts that the Taylor Swift Eras Tour Concert movie will earn between $150 million and $225 million throughout its run in the United States and Canada.
Swift’s concert film is projected to do exceedingly well on the opening weekend gross with over $120 million predicted. This is seen positively by theater chains such as AMC Theatres and Cineworld.
The film created a new domestic record for the biggest ticket sales income in a single day for AMC. People are looking forward to seeing The Eras Tour at over 8,500 venues across the world.
On the other hand, Beyoncé’s film Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, which opens in theaters in December, is predicted to gross $75 million in ticket sales. Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert movie will include at least four showtimes per day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at every AMC theater in the United States.
The movie theater network said that it will “continue to take steps to reach agreements with additional cinema operators throughout the world to play this spectacular Taylor Swift tour-de-force.”
The concert film has also officially been rated PG-13 for some strong language and suggestive materials.
