Kevin Feige reveals that both Marvel and Harry Styles are excited about his return as Eros in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Styles was introduced as Eros, Thanos’ brother in one of Eternals‘ post-credits scenes. His character caused a lot of excitement among his fans. However, his MCU future has been up in the air since his appearance.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Feige noted that Marvel and Styles are both excited about the actor reprising his role as Eros, and he suggested where this would occur in the MCU.
“He’s excited. We’re excited. We will see. You introduce a lot of new characters in a lot of movies and a lot of tags. Where do the tag folk reappear? That’s a good question.”
Eros might make an appearance in several MCU films. Because he made his debut in Eternals, the most apparent response would be for Harry Styles to return in a future Eternals 2. Eros was last seen onboard the Domo, when he met Thena, Makkari, and Druig and promised to assist them discover more Eternals. However, given the mixed reactions to Eternals, a sequel seems unlikely.
