Despite being under strict instructions not to divulge details about his highly anticipated movie, Oppenheimer, renowned actor Cillian Murphy couldn’t help but hint at the essence of some intimate scenes within the film.
Earlier, in an interview with Wired, Christopher Nolan revealed that the love story aspect in the movie, “is as strong as I’ve ever done.” It includes prolonged full nudity for Murphy and Florence Pugh, who plays Oppenheimer’s ex-fiancée and there are complex sequences with Emily Blunt, who plays his wife.
While speaking to The Guardian, Cillian Murphy said that such scenes were “pretty heavy.” In a rather cryptic manner, Murphy hinted that his scenes with co-stars Blunt and Pugh in Oppenheimer create a magical on-screen dynamic.
“The audience gets something for free”, he says. “You can be immediately vulnerable and open, and try stuff. There were moments where I remember saying, “I couldn’t have done that if it wasn’t with you.'”
As fans eagerly await the premiere of Oppenheimer, the idea of watching the beautiful interactions between Murphy, Blunt, and Pugh adds an extra layer of excitement to the movie.
