Chris Pine expressed his optimism about the prospect of Dungeons & Dragons 2 and says he wants to reprise his role.
Having portrayed the character Edgin, in the Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, the actor has garnered praise for his performance in the critically acclaimed production. Despite the positive reception, details surrounding a potential sequel have remained relatively hushed.
In a recent interview GamesRadar+ the actor says, “I’ve heard some rumors about it. But I don’t know anything yet. But I feel pretty confident that it may happen.” When we ask if he’d be happy to return, Pine responds, “Absolutely.”
Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, Honor Among Thieves boasts a star-studded ensemble featuring Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Regé-Jean Page, and Daisy Head. With the expansive and rich world of Dungeons & Dragons, the potential for a sequel seems boundless, opening the door to countless creative possibilities.
Pine is set to grace the screen in Disney‘s upcoming animated musical, Wish, alongside a talented ensemble that includes Oscar winner Ariana DeBose and Alan Tudyk. Pine steps into the shoes of the villainous King Magnifico in the film, slated to hit theaters on November 22.
