Euphoria breakthrough actor Angus Cloud movie Your Lucky Day, a horror thriller has acquired a SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement for promotion ahead of its Fantastic Fest debut.
Cloud died on July 31st, at the age of 25, at his family home in Oakland, California, of an unidentified reason. Cloud’s co-stars in Your Lucky Day included Jessica Garza, Elliot Knight, Jason O’Mara, Spencer Garrett, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Jason Wiles, and Sebastian Sozzi.
The film is touted as a morality play set on Christmas Eve at a tiny convenience shop towards the bottom of the socioeconomic food chain, where a hostage scenario breaks out over a $156 million lottery ticket. When things ultimately spin out of control, the film devolves into a hardboiled examination of how the poisoned core of the American dream is essentially a nightmare. Luke Barnett and Adam Baxter are the film’s producers.
In addition to Angus Cloud movie, Your Lucky Day, the actor leaves behind Radio Silence’s upcoming monster film for Universal and the horror thriller Freaky Tales, which Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden wrote, directed, and produced for eOne and Macro.
