Prime Video reveals the first trailer for The Boys season 4, and it seems like Homelander (Antony Starr) will be getting even more brutal; it’s finally election year.
The upcoming season is set to feature an abundance of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a distinct satirical take on MAGA, and new supes who appear to be driven by a desire to witness societal chaos.
The official synopsis says, “In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher (Karl Urban), with only months to live, has lost Becca’s (Shantel VanSanten) son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
In season four, familiar faces such as Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, and Cameron Crovetti are set to make a comeback. Joining the cast for the new season are actors Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry.
The official release date for The Boys Season 4 is still pending. Meanwhile, you can binge-watch the initial three seasons of The Boys and the first season of spinoff series Gen V on Prime Video.
