Jennifer Walters actor Tatiana Maslany isn’t sure that Marvel‘s She-Hulk Season 2 will happen.
With Loki Season 2 recently concluded and the next chapter of Moon Knight confirmed, fans of Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, were eager for more green superhero action. However, during a recent appearance on a Twitch stream via Codenames LIVE! – The New Class, Maslany had a straightforward response when asked about more episodes.
“I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget,” she joked. “And Disney was like, ‘No thanks.'” Marvel has been tight-lipped about the specific budget, but industry estimates suggest that the production costs for the series was approximately $225 million.
She-Hulk, created by Jessica Gao, revolves around Jen, a lawyer in her 30s, going through the challenges of her demanding professional career and a personal life that seems to be going downhill. What makes it more complicated is when she transforms into a 6-foot-7-inch superhero.
The complexities heighten when her attempts at a dedicated personal life are disrupted by a villainous influencer, played by Jameela Jamil, and a misogynistic billionaire, portrayed by Jon Bass, attempting to pilfer her superpowers.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is streaming now on Disney+.
